How Dark Fina joins your party
Dark Fina, also called Archwitch Fina, joins automatically during Chapter 5 of Final Fantasy Resonance's main story, without requiring Archwitch's Grimoire. Use her as a separate Saboteur-focused party member, with Witching Hour boosting her attributes for offense and debuffs while restricting normal white-magic healing.
Story recruitment and the demo
Archwitch Fina becomes important to the story before her permanent recruitment, so an earlier appearance does not mean she has joined your roster for good. Her permanent recruitment happens automatically during Chapter 5 as part of the base game's main story. The demo covers the opening through Chapter 1, so continue into the full game for that recruitment.
Recruit her and manage Witching Hour
- Continue the main story until Archwitch Fina permanently joins during Chapter 5. You do not need to buy Archwitch's Grimoire for this recruitment.
- Choose Archwitch Fina as her own party member when you want a Saboteur focused on weakening enemies. She is a separate playable character rather than a permanent costume for regular Fina.
- Use Witching Hour for an offensive stretch when you can afford restricted access to normal white-magic healing. Its substantial attribute boost supports her damage and debuff role.
- End Witching Hour when the party needs that healing access. Check the party's condition before committing to more offense.

Use dark damage without dropping support
Build around the job you need Archwitch Fina to perform in the current fight. Dystopia is her main damage option, while Queenly Wit helps reduce enemy damage. Witching Hour favors offense and debuffs, so make sure your healing plan still works before committing to that state.
Vision mastery belongs to each character, so learning a bonus on another party member does not teach it to Archwitch Fina. Work toward the useful bonus on the character who will equip it, then make room for its AP cost when bringing it over from another Vision. Pick an upgrade that solves your current problem before starting another long mastery grind.
Last Respite and Archwitch's Grimoire
Check around Grandshelt for Last Respite during Chapter 5 if you want to pursue Archwitch Fina's personal progression. Completing it rewards progression that includes the Moonlight Ring. You can complete her normal story and personal quest without Archwitch's Grimoire.
Archwitch's Grimoire unlocks Fel Meteor and is included in the Magitek & Grimoire Deluxe Pack. It serves a different purpose from the main story recruitment and Last Respite reward. Choose it for access to that additional Limit Burst; it is not a condition for bringing Archwitch Fina into your party.
